Each year, CSTA Chapters set growth goals based on the Chapter Success Rubric to further the mission of building community and providing PD & support to members. Below are CSTA Alabama's Goals for 22-23:
Goal 1 - Have a virtual community with regular communication (at least monthly) by both Chapter Leaders and members.
Goal 2 - Host at least one meeting or event that addresses equitable teaching practices.
Element 2: Provide PD + Support - Professional Development
Goal 3 - Chapter leadership promptly responds to all CSTA HQ communications and requests, including the annual report. At least one Chapter Leader participates in the annual Chapter Leadership Summit.

A+ College Ready's Computer Science Fall Conference and Workshop
The A+ College Ready Computer Science Fall Conference/Workshop for middle and high school teachers is designed to strengthen content knowledge and to expand access to instructional strategies and resources for both novice and experienced teachers.
This conference is designed to provide teachers a choice of sessions to deepen their content knowledge, to learn new pedagogical strategies, and to strengthen implementation strategies such as differentiation, assessment, technology infusion, engaging learners, etc. The session options and descriptions are linked here. In addition to high-quality teaching and learning, participants will have the opportunity to network with colleagues from all over the state.
